关于在岗教学为主型外籍教师考核及续聘工作的通知

各有关学院(研究院):

为做好2014-2015学年在岗教学为主型外籍教师(以下简称“外教”)的聘期考核及续聘工作,现将有关事项通知如下:

一、4月7日至4月17日各院开展聘期考核及续聘工作。

请各有关学院(研究院)依据在岗外教的聘用合同及学校有关规定,对所有在岗外教本聘期履行岗位职责的情况进行认真考核。考核不合格者不予续聘,各单位应至少提前一个月给予不续聘者书面通知。经学院(研究院)聘任委员会考核合格、同意续聘的外教,可报学校审批。请各有关学院于4月17日前将如下材料报送人事处人事科(逾期不候):

1.《教学为主型长期外籍教师考核结果汇总表》(含本院所有外教)

2.《厦门大学教学为主型外籍教师考核及续聘申请表》(不申请续聘者“单位意见”部分不必填写;申请续聘者“单位意见”均需填写)

3.《拟聘教学为主型长期外籍教师授课计划表》(单位填写、盖章)

4.《健康告知书》(拟续聘外教个人填写)

5.一年内的体检报告(仅50岁以上外教需提供)

6.一年内曾更换护照的拟续聘外教还应提供新护照首页复印件

二、4月20日至4月30日 学校审批各单位续聘申请。

三、5月4日至5月15日 签署合同

人事处、学院(研究院)与经学校审批同意续聘的外教签订续聘合同。

四、5月18日至5月29日 其他手续

人事处为已签订续聘合同的外教办理团体商业医疗保险延期,并请国际处为其办理签证和居留许可延期。

Notice on the Assessment and Renewal ofthe Current Long-term Teaching-oriented Foreign Teachers


To Relevant Colleges (Institutions):

Please see below the schedule of theassessment and contract-renewal affairs of long-term teaching-oriented foreignteachers employed in the school year of 2014-2015.

I. April 7 – April 17Assessment and Decision of Renewal by the college

The assessment of the foreign teachers on howwell their job responsibilities have been fulfilled should be firstly carriedout by the college, based on the employing contract and relevant regulations ofthe University. Those who fail in the assessment will not be renewed. Thecollege shall inform the foreign teachers the renewal decision of the college inwriting one month before their current contract terminates.

The College/School Recruiting Committee shallconsider the renewing applications of those who have passed the assessment. Withapproval, The College/School shall forward the documents to the University for finalapproval. The College/School is expected to deliver the following documents tothe Personnel Office before April 17 (No overdue delivery is accepted):

1. Summary Form of Assessment Results of theLong-term Teaching-oriented Foreign Teachers (including all the foreignteachers in the college/school)

2. Contract Performance Assessment Form &Application Form for Renewing Contract (For foreign teachers who do not applyfor renewal, no need to fill “College/School Opinion”; for foreign teachers whoapply for renewal, the college/school need to fill “College/School Opinion”);

3. Summary of the Teaching Plans for the Long-term Teaching-oriented ForeignTeachers Candidates (filled and sealed by the employing institution)

4. Health Statement (filled by the foreignteacher candidates who will renew the contract)

5. Health Check Report within one year(candidates over 50 years of age need to provide)

6. Copy of the IDpage of the new passport (if any).

II. April 20 to April 30 The University review and approve the renewing application.

III. May 4 to May 15 Signingthe Contract

The University and College sign the NewContract with the foreign teachers who have passed the approval of theuniversity.

IV. May 18 to May 29 Other Procedures

The Personnel Department will renew the groupcommercial health insurancefor those who have signed the contract, and inform the Office ofInternational Cooperation and Exchange to work on his/her visa and residence permit extension.
