关于在岗教学为主型外籍教师考核及续聘工作的通知

各有关学院(研究院):

为做好2012-2013学年在岗教学为主型外籍教师(以下简称“外教”)的聘期考核及续聘工作,现将有关事项通知如下:

一、 415日至424  各院开展聘期考核及续聘工作。

各学院(研究院)依据在岗外教的聘用合同及学校有关规定,对所有在岗外教本聘期履行岗位职责的情况进行认真考核。考核不合格者不予续聘,各单位应至少提前一个月给予不续聘者书面通知。

经学院(研究院)聘委会研究同意续聘的外教,可报学校审批。

所需材料:

1.《教学为主型长期外籍教师考核结果汇总表》(含本院所有外教)

2.《厦门大学教学为主型外籍教师考核及续聘申请表》(不申请续聘者“单位意见”部分不必填写;申请续聘者“单位意见”均需填写)

拟续聘的外教还需提供以下材料:

1.拟聘教学为主型长期外籍教师授课计划表》(单位填写、盖章)

2.《健康告知书》(201210月版)(个人填写)

3.一年内曾更换护照的外教还应提供新护照首页复印件

二、425日至510学校审批各单位续聘申请。

三、5月11日5月24日人事处、学院(研究院)、外教三方签订续聘合同。

四、5月25日至6月30日 人事处为已签订续聘合同的外教办理团体商业医疗保险延期,并转请国际处为其办理签证和居留许可延期。

五、其他事项

1.相关材料应以学院为单位统一提交,于4月24日前送到人事处师资科,逾期请恕不再受理。相关表格请见附件。

Notice on the Assessment and Renewal of the Current Long-term Teaching-oriented Foreign Teachers

 

To Relevant Colleges (Institutions):

 

Please see below the schedule of the assessment and contract-renewal affairs of long-term teaching-oriented foreign teachers employed in the school year of 2012-2013.

 

(I) April 15 – April 24 Assessment and Decision of Renewal by the college

The assessment of the foreign teachers on how they have fulfilled their job responsibilities should be firstly carried out by the college, based on the employing contract and relevant regulation of the University. Those who fail in the assessment will not be renewed. The college shall inform the foreign teachers the renewal decision in writing one month before their current contract terminates.

Each College/School Recruiting Committee shall consider the renewing applications and inform the Personnel Office who they decide to renew with.

Documents required:

A. Summary Form of Assessment Results of the Long-term Teaching-oriented Foreign Teachers (to be filled in by the institution)

B. Contract Performance Assessment Form & Application Form for Renewing Contract (to be filled by the candidate and the employing institution)

For those who are expected to be renewed:

A. Teaching Schedule for Teaching-oriented Foreign Teachers (to be provided by the college/school)

B. Health Statement (New version) (by the candidate)

C. Copy of passport photo page if the candidate obtained a new passport in the past year

(II) April 25 to May 10 The University review and approve the renewing application.

(III) May 11 to May 24 Signing of the New Contract between the three parties (the University, College and the Foreign Teacher)

(IV) May 25 to June 30 The Personnel Department will renew the group commercial health insurance for those who have signed the contract, and inform the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange to work on his/her visa and residence permit extension.

(V). Other Issues

1. All documents should be handed in to the College firstly and passed to the Personnel Department by the college/institution timely. No application will be accepted after the deadline. All forms mentioned above can be found attached below.
