Xiamen University (XMU), founded in 1921 by Mr. Tan Kah Kee, a renowned overseas Chinese entrepreneur and philanthropist, is the first Chinese higher-education institution established by an overseas Chinese. Essential Qualifications:
 1)    Applicants must hold a PhD in a related discipline. Those holding a Master's in Educational Drama/ Theatre can also be considered.
 2)   At least Three (3) years of proven university teaching experience in any of the subjects mentioned below
 3) Good command of English (Except for specific subjects)
 4) Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
 5)  Proven research potential is required

 Essential Qualifications
  1)   A doctoral degree and a full professorship (or an equivalent position) in a prominent university (or research institutes)
  2)  Being a specialist in any field related to marine sciences
  3) Being in good health and 50-55 years old or younger (The age restriction can be exempt for outstanding talent)
  4) Overseas experience (study or work) is required. The candidate should have international perspective, strategic and creative thinking on marine discipline development.
  5) Distinguished academic credentials and international recognition for his/her achievements in research, scholarship and teaching.
  6) A proven record of high-level administrative and leadership experience in a university setting, such as a department, a research institute or a laboratory, and being able to take charge of teaching, research, team building, discipline development, social services and administration.
 N) Lecturers in Arts & Social Science of Foundation Studies
 Essential Qualifications
 1）PhD or master’s degree in Mass Communication or Social Science, or
 2）PhD or master’s degree in Business studies/Administration/management or Economics
 3）Ability to teach in English, at least one year of teaching experience
 5）Be able to teach pre-university level business, economics or journalism
Part-Time Positions Available
We are currently seeking to recruit committed and energetic part-time lecturers with rich experience to teach the following subjects at the undergraduate level:
